How credits work

One simple unit: the lesson hour.

No subscriptions and no percentages. You buy credits, students book lessons, and credits cover them.

01

Buy a credit bundle

Pick the bundle that fits how much you teach. The bigger the bundle, the cheaper each credit gets.

02

Students book lessons with you

When a student books a lesson, the booking reserves your credits. That is all a booking costs you.

03

One credit covers one lesson hour

Each credit buys a full lesson hour with everything included: the HD video classroom, scheduling, chat, materials, and payment processing.

Student safety

Free for students, protected by design.

Ximly costs students nothing, with one exception that exists purely to protect them.

Free means free

Students never pay Ximly to learn. Finding a tutor, booking lessons, and joining the classroom carry no platform charge.

One small exception

When a lesson is paid through protected Stripe checkout, a small safety recording fee is added to the student's payment. It funds recording the lesson.

Evidence on the student's side

If a tutor breaks the rules or a lesson is not delivered properly, the recording backs the student's report with real evidence.

The recording exists for the student's protection: it turns a dispute into a matter of evidence, not one person's word against another's.
FAQ

Pricing questions, answered.

What is a lesson credit?

One credit covers one lesson hour. Tutors pre-purchase credit bundles, and students consume those credits when reserving lessons. That is the whole model.

What does the credit price include?

Everything: payment processing, the HD video classroom, scheduling, chat, and materials. There are no hidden fees on top of the credit price.

Do you take a commission from my earnings?

Never. You keep everything you earn. Instead of a commission, you pay a flat per-lesson credit, from $1 per lesson hour.

Is Ximly free for students?

Yes. The only exception is a small safety recording fee added when a lesson is paid through protected Stripe checkout.

What is the safety recording fee?

A small fee added to the student's payment when they pay through protected Stripe checkout. It funds the lesson recording, and if a tutor breaks the rules or a lesson is not delivered properly, the recording backs the student's report.

Do credit prices depend on how many I buy?

Yes. The bigger the bundle, the cheaper each credit: from $1.50 per credit on the smallest bundles down to $1.00 per credit at 250 credits and up.
